What You Need to Know about Changes to the Plan

Effective July 10, 2017, the Plan will be using a new menu of investment options. In the April edition of the Quarterly, you learned why the menu is changing as well as the types of investment options that will be available in July.

To learn which investment options are changing, what you need to do and why transition accounts are required, refer to Deferred Comp 2.0 to learn more. This special edition of the Quarterly newsletter, issued in June, provides information on what’s changing. In the newsletter, you’ll read about transition accounts, why they are needed, how they work and how they benefit you.

After July 10, the investment option performance and fact sheets for the new funds will be available under What Are My Investment Options under About NYSDCP on this Web site. Until that time, see below for pertinent information on the new investment options.
