New Security Enhancements
Nationwide Financial is committed to continually improving security. That’s why participants will be prompted to update account security information when they log into their account. The new security enhancements will be introduced to groups of participants in stages, beginning June, 2015 through December, 2015.
Security enhancements include:
- User names and passwords may need to meet new minimum security requirements
- A requirement to confirm/provide an account recovery email address
- Four new security questions
- A more robust password reset process
Participants are urged to take any actions requested regarding their account security when they see the prompts. The updated security measures will add another layer of protection to participant accounts.
